CAN I DO JUST ONE VIDEO?
Idea Kit is perfect for creating ongoing content. In fact, we have packages with deep discounts on video if you sign up for a year’s worth of content. But if you don’t need 12 videos, we can create a custom package to fit you. Some Kit clients only need us to produce a single video project. We can do that!
HOW DO I PAY?
If you’re creating a year’s worth of content, we offer monthly autopay options. If we’re working together on a single project, you’ll be billed your account setup up front and the project cost when you have a final video in hand.
WHERE DO I GET THE GEAR?
We send it straight to you. As soon as you sign up for Idea Kit, we ship you a ring light and a couple of light stands with a phone mount and a lavalier mic. We’ve tested different lights and a dozen mics. You’re getting our top picks.
DO I GET TO KEEP MY VIDEOS?
Yes! As soon as you’ve been through the revision process, we’ll send you a downloadable link. You just click it and save the MP4 file to your computer. Then you can upload it to YouTube, your website, and directly to social platforms.
HOW DO I COME UP WITH IDEAS FOR MY VIDEOS?
You’re in luck. We specialize in ideas at Idea Decanter! The first step in our process is to work with you to create a “Playlist” for your content. After our consulting session, you’ll get your custom Playlist in spreadsheet form with ideas assigned to months. The plan is flexible and it helps keep you on track.
DO I NEED A SCRIPT?
To teleprompt or not to teleprompt, that is the question. And a good one! You decide if you’d like your script on the screen, just bullet points, or if you’d prefer to record Q&A style. If you want to use a script, we’ll load it to the in-app teleprompter and roll it for you to read. We can work with you to boil that messaging down to bullet points if you prefer that in your teleprompter. Or you may choose to do a Q&A video. In this style, we work in advance to identify messaging, audience, and your call to action. Then, during your record session, we ask you questions to cover all those points we planned. After we’re done recording, we cut out the questions and take the best bits of what you said and build your story.
